NAN Lactose Free is a food for special medical purposes, specially designed for children who are intolerant to lactose. NAN Lactose Free is suitable for use from birth up to 6 months of age when lactose free elimination diet is required. After 6 months, babies start solids and that should replace 1-2 milk feeds. It is often recommended to gradually introduce cereals and progressively vegetables, fruit, meat and fish to baby's diet. Contra-indications:
Do not use NAN Lactose Free in case of GALACTOSEMIA or GLUCOSE-GALACTOSE malabsorption. NAN Lactose Free contains traces of residual lactose which some experts consider to be high for such disease. Not intended for parenteral use.
